The new Posture & Balance course integrates clinical strategies for passive therapies with active strategies to functionally strengthen posture. Systematic protocols for building personal awareness are integrated with exercises to strengthen standing Balance, static Alignment and dynamic Motion. Three eponymous tracks of tightly defined exercises systematically progress the person to more accurately connect their body perception and motion to objective reality.

Patient-friendly concepts of postural bio-mechanics use 5 common-sense posture principles, and are presented along with each exercise for congruent patient education towards understanding and adopting intelligent postural habits.

  1. Pleasant way to get my CE!!

Posted by Dr. Linda Whitman, DC on 5th Sep 2018

Not only am I thoroughly enjoying the coursework - I have a few units left - I am strongly considering going for certification, adding posture rehab to my practice. Far superior to courses that are only mildly interesting, but at least qualify for credit, that I have taken elsewhere.

  2. Happy I can do it on my own time

Posted by Dr. Tobi Sheiker Wilmington, DE on 10th Apr 2018

Liking the course so far, and so happy that as a working mother of three I'm able to do it on my own time after the kids go to bed.

  3. GREAT

  10. posture exercise

Posted by Kari Horn on 16th Apr 2015

I had a patient who was a runner having trouble with a snapping hip and hip flexor, and she had been trying to run some 10K’s and was unable to do it so I said “Let’s try some of the postural exercises”.

Within 2 weeks she had just minimal discomfort, within 3-4 weeks she was running with no problems, she said “I feel great. I’m running with my friend again. I can run my 10K.”

Whether you are adjusting, acupuncture, the different therapies, other rehabs, if you don’t incorporate the posture exercises you’re missing a piece.
