The Posture and Balance Assessment, Rehabilitation & Motor Control Exercise course integrates clinical strategies for passive therapies with active strategies to functionally strengthen posture. Systematic protocols for building personal awareness are integrated with exercises to strengthen standing Balance, static Alignment and dynamic Motion. Three eponymous tracks of tightly defined exercises systematically progress the person to more accurately connect their body perception and motion to objective reality.

Patient-friendly concepts of postural bio-mechanics use 5 common-sense posture principles, and are presented along with each exercise for congruent patient education towards understanding and adopting intelligent postural habits.

Great exercises that insurance will pay for!

Posted by Jeff Scheuermann on 1st Aug 2012

The BodyZone seminar is truly the best seminar I have ever taken. The information is presented and laid out in an easy to understand format that you can use Monday morning.

Look patients know they need to exercise and you know they need to exercise. These exercises are easy to teach and easy and fun for the patients to perform. By instructing the patients then giving them the hand-outs, the patients trust that you know what you are talking about. Then when you test them each day, it shows them that you care and increases their compliance.

I am getting people well now, that weren't getting well before. This is a great tool that the insurance companies will pay for. It's an instant practice builder!

    Posture Training

Posted by Raina Trevenna, CPEP, OT, CHT on 9th Jul 2012

As a dedicated outpatient Occupational Therapist for the past fourteen years, I have truly seen the benefits of posture exercise. Specializing in upper body and burn injuries at a level one trauma center, I have gained a thorough understanding of the body as an integrated whole and believe in a holistic approach. Incorporating postural and body balancing exercises into my patient's treatments has really made such a positive difference.

Training with BodyZone provided an advanced understanding the key concepts of strong posture (motion, balance, patterns, compensation and adaptation), and helped me become a better therapist. CPEP training taught me excellent techniques to isolate target areas and cue patients to avoid compensations.

Not only have my coaching skills improved, but my ability to educate my patients to better understand their body, their injury and how to get the most out of their home exercises have improved. I believe in empowering those I work with to become active participants in their wellness, and Dr. Weiniger's programs teach this as a priority.

I have realized the endless benefits of strong posture for people in their daily lives, not just to treat problems but avoid them all together. I have started a wellness education company to make this knowledge readily available to everyone. Posture training will be the cornerstone of the services we provide and will ensure my clients achieve lifelong benefits. A balanced body leads to a balanced life and BodyZone has trained me to be an expert!
